Corona Virus and The Ten Key Group

Dear valued clients,

If you haven’t already heard, the Federal Government, State of Ohio, and local governments have moved the Income Tax Return filing deadline back from April 15 to July 15 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Accounting firms are one of the business groups designated as essential and, as such we are exempt from the Stay at Home order issued by Governor DeWine. We will keep working, but we must be smart about how we work. We must do our part to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus by practicing “social distancing” to keep our families, friends and communities as well as ourselves safe.

Toward that end, I have instructed my staff to work from home where necessary and come into the office if an in-person client meeting is necessary. There are many social platforms we can use to “meet” and documents can be exchanged electronically via our client portals or emails. And, there’s always the time-proven, old-school communication methods: telephones and mail. Whatever methods we use to communicate, I assure you we will continue to successfully meet your accounting needs.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call.

These are uneasy times, and I genuinely appreciate your understanding. Stay safe.

Sincerely,

David A. Zajac
President, The TenKey Group
